In 2011, Bishram took part in the Master Star 2011 pageant, organized by Nepalese Fashion Home. The event, held at Rastriya Naachghar in Jamal, saw 44 contestants compete through four challenging rounds to reach the grand finale.
In the final top 5 Q&A round, which was conducted in written format, Bishram was asked: “How can we solve the growing issue of Nepalis leaving the country for employment and education, and eventually settling abroad?”
In his thoughtful response, Bishram acknowledged that this was a pressing challenge for the nation. He emphasised that the responsibility of solving it shouldn't fall solely on the government. Instead, he drew a heartfelt comparison between a nation and a family just as in a home where each member contributes, whether it’s a brother sweeping the floor, a sister tidying up, or parents preparing meals, a country can flourish when every citizen takes part. He believed that if everyone contributed in their own way, Nepal could create the kind of opportunities that would inspire its youth to stay and build their futures at home.
That night, Bishram was named the runner-up of Master Star 2011 a moment he considers a turning point in his life. More than just a title, it marked the beginning of his transformation from an introvert to an extrovert, helping shape the confident and driven person he is today.
